A seventh-generation Colorado native, Breann feels a deep connection to helping injured parties in the state. She serves on the Transportation Advisory Committee in Englewood, CO, and is active in a variety of political organizations in Colorado. She focuses her practice on personal injury, civil rights litigation, and wrongful death cases. She began her career in an insurance defense litigation firm where she handled hundreds of cases on behalf of a variety of insurance companies. She knows what tricks the insurance companies have up their sleeves, and how to combat them. She quickly saw the light, joined the plaintiff’s litigation field, and has never looked back.
Ms. Plasters has worked on large mass-tort cases including those surrounding Monsanto’s Roundup poisoning, bimetal hips litigation, hernia mesh litigation, and the formation of large civil sexual assault suits on behalf of female U.S. Olympians. Breann has also filed civil rights suits on behalf of incarcerated individuals at both state and federal prisons including the supermax facility at Florence, CO.
Ms. Plasters is the lead attorney in a large suit against the State of Colorado for the wrongful death of Curtis Littlepage, a young Grand Junction man who was hit and killed by a drunk driver and life-long felon under the supervision of Colorado Probation. Littlepage v. Colorado Probation of the 21st Judicial District et. al has garnered significant press and is still ongoing.
Breann brings a unique perspective to her cases, feeling a deep connection to the most difficult and catastrophic circumstances. She treats every client, whether they are a wealthy gold medalist or life-long felon with dignity and respect. She believes every person deserves representation, and she wants her clients to know that they can trust and count on her to fight for every dime and dignity they deserve.
